Hayyim Nahman Bialik (Hebrew: חיים נחמן ביאליק) (January 9, 1873–July 4, 1934), also commonly written as Chaim or Haim Nachman Bialik, was a Jewish poet who wrote in Hebrew. Bialik is considered one of the first, and certainly the most influential, of modern Hebrew poets, and is widely recognised as Israel's National Poet.
